How can blogs & social media be used for positive changes?

Many people think blogs and social media are very dangerous for society, but in reality they can be very useful and they can benefit us in thousand ways, Facebook, Twitter, Skype and other social networks are just more tools that can show us the positive side of blogs and social media.

Since most social networks where released it’s known that they can be the base for murders, extortions, and child prostitution but if people use them wisely the can be very useful. One of these benefits is the speedy communication, now days we are busier or in some cases we don’t have enough cash for communication, fortunately some social networks allow us to communicate in a speedy and efficient way, for example Twitter permit us to upload a tweet in less than 30 seconds, but if you want more than text communication other networks such a Skype let you video call one friend, partner, or a member of your family, or even allow you to send a voice or video message. Another advantage that we can use from blogs and social media is the empathy, if for example you have a problem with your computer you can easily go to a computer blog, and you can find the solution from someone who had the same problem. Social media does not only allows you to interact with your family but if you have access to a tablet, smart phone, computer or any other electronic devices then you can have the whole world in front of you, you can access to the news, or certain group in which you are interested, to the stock market and even help poor people trough out blogs and social networks. It is true that in some cases social media can broke up relationships but as painful as the end of a relation sometimes is the same kind of social media the one who can join you with that person that has lots in common obviously if you are carful and you make correct use of the determined social media, thanks to social media you can foster friends and maybe you can go besides that.

Social media and blogs are great and innovating tools but as every yang has its own yang, as I already mention, murders, child prostitution, suicide between others, it is also clear that if people use this tools wisely, correctly and in a moderated way, It actually can be very useful. Social media and blogs are NOT BAD, “they are like a hammer you can built a lot and as the same way they could destroy it all”
